Well the July/August motorhome peak season is in full swing, and we are fully booked up until 28th August 2014. However the good news is that we still have availability in September and October ! You’ll have similar weather in September as August, but with less midgies and the roads and campsites will be less busy. So if you fancy a chilled week or two in one of our luxury motorhomes, here are some the events and attractions planned for September – October!

Scotland events highlights for the month of September include the Braemar Gathering, the Pitlochry Highland Games, and the Scottish Book Town Festival.
Viking Festival in Largs
30-August to 07-Sept 2014, Largs
Come and see Vikings, sword fighting and a genuine 13th century Viking village. A great family day out. The event celebrates the last invasion by Vikings on the UK mainland with the Battle of Largs, 1263.
Dundee Spring Garden Show
05-Sept to 07-Sept Sept 2014, Dundee
A great garden and flower festival in Dundee. Come and see TV personalities, celebrity gardeners, highland dancers, puppet theaters and cake baking competitions. Another great family day out.
Borders of Scotland Art Trail
06-Sept to 08-Sept 2014, The Borders
If arts and crafts is your thing, then why not visit this great festival in the Scottish Borders, a beautiful and often overlooked part of Scotland – the trail less frequently traveled by our customers. This festival will celebrate and demonstrate crafts such as painting, textiles, jewellery making, glasswork, with tearooms, restaurants, studios and workshops.
The Braemar Gathering
06-Sept 2014, Braemar
Quite probably the most popular and week known Highland Games in Scotland, and the only one that the Royal Family attend. Come and see, International athletes and UK Armed Forces compete in such events as Tug-o-war, hammer throwing, toss the caber. Highland dancing is a must see.
Scottish Cities Cycle Challenge
12-Sept to 15-Sept Sept 2014, Inverness
We have many customers who hire our luxury motorhomes to participate in sporting events such as triathlons and cycling. The motorhomes are the ideal, comfortable base with a bike rack at the rear, shower room and full cooking facilities. Do your event, jump in the shower and crack up the gas and electric heating to thaw out after that long swim in a Scottish loch !
The Scottish Cities Cycle Challenge is a 340 mile cycle in support of Cancer Research UK, passing through the cities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Stirling and Glasgow before finishing in Edinburgh.
Pitlochry Highland Games
13-Sept 2014, Pitlochry
Another opportunity to sample the Scottish highland games – a must see for anyone visiting Scotland. Come see the bagpipes, dancing and competitions. Pitlochry is a wonderful place to stop for the night with both campsites and wild-camping spots close at hand, and less than 2 hours drive from our luxury motorhome collection location near Edinburgh.
Scottish Book Town Festival
260Sept to 05-Oct 2014, Wigtown, Dumfries & Galloway
Wigtown is known as Scotland’s national book town and hosts the festival with over 250,000 books. So if you like nothing more than curling up with a good book when you’re off on a fantastic motorhome hire holiday, after an enjoyable day of exploring the sights of Dumfries and Galloway, then this is the place for you.
Baxters Loch Ness Marathon
28-Sept 2014, Fort Augustus to Inverness
If pushing your limits is your thing, in the knowledge that you have a comfortable bed waiting for you in a superb motorhome, then why not partake in the Loch Ness marathon, one of the toughest and hilliest in the UK ? If you don’t quite fancy the full 26.2 miles, then try the 5K and 10K races. The scenery is spectacular and you’ll be hard pushed to find a more beautiful marathon in the world.
